We have a strong background in engine related matters, ranging from actual diesel engine experience through filtration technology, monitoring and alarm equipment, condition monitoring equipment, as well as temperature controlling/ cooling. Our understanding of marine fuels and oils, viscosity control and oil mist detection, increases our appreciation and understanding of the bilge water conundrum aboard ships.
Approach
With our knowledge on oil/fuel matters and how they impact engine performance, we built a good understanding of engine related matters. Of particular interest to us is the evolution of marine fuels, as it affects viscosity and combustion characteristics, and we keep an eye on the oil situation in general and marine fuel in particular.
We understand engineers aboard and ashore are time constrained. Our efforts are therefore geared towards reducing man hour requirements for operation and maintenance of equipment and engine condition evaluation and reporting.
